Product fit and scope
What is Workers Comp Audit Prep?
It helps you gather records, explain payroll differences, track missing proof, and hand over a cleaner audit file. It is not a payroll platform, broker service, or legal product.
Who is it for?
The site is built primarily for contractor owners, office managers, and bookkeepers who need a cleaner audit-prep workflow.
Is this only for contractors?
Construction is the hero wedge and the main kit is built for contractors first. There is also an SMB Edition for lighter cases.
Will this tell me the right class code?
No. It helps you document duties and organize supporting records. It does not provide binding classification advice.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. It helps you prepare for the audit. It does not provide legal, tax, or binding classification advice.
Delivery, updates, and product format
What comes with the Construction Kit?
The Construction Kit download includes the workbook, Quick Start PDF, checklist PDF, prep guide PDF, call-script/templates PDF, editable DOCX templates, review guide PDF, packet-folder ZIP, update-policy PDF, and example screenshots PDF.
Does the workbook run in Excel or Google Sheets?
The workbook is Excel-first, but it is designed to remain reasonably usable in Google Sheets after import.
Do the kits include updates?
The kits are sold as one-time downloads. If revised kit files are issued later, they use the same purchase delivery path, but the current offer does not promise a fixed update term.
Is the app included with the Construction Kit?
No. Audit Packet Builder is a separate annual product.
Workbook vs. app
What does Audit Packet Builder do?
It adds saved projects, uploads, review, missing-item flags, and export on top of the workbook-based workflow.
Does the app replace the workbook?
No. The workbook remains the core output. The app is the speed and convenience layer.
Can I buy the app once instead of annually?
No. Audit Packet Builder is available as an annual subscription.
What file types does the app support?
The app accepts PDF, Excel (.xlsx / .xls), and CSV uploads. Best results come from CSV, XLSX, and machine-readable PDFs; scanned PDFs often need more manual review.
Can I bulk upload COIs?
Yes, but certificate matches still need manual review.
Does the app export Google Sheets?
No. The editable export is Excel.
Privacy, refunds, and support boundaries
How long are raw uploads retained in the app plan?
Raw uploads are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the most recent export, while structured project data and export history can remain available with the active subscription.
What kind of support do you offer?
Support covers access, downloads, workbook use, app workflow questions, and basic troubleshooting.
Do you offer audit consulting or legal review?
No. It does not include individualized audit consulting, legal review, or binding classification advice.
What is the refund policy?
Digital purchases use a 14-day refund window. See the refund policy page for details.
What if my audit is already scheduled?
The workflow is still useful during an active audit, especially for organizing backup, clarifying mismatches, and building a cleaner packet.
